Moreland Landing at Palmetto Bluff | Gina and Ryan’s Welcome Party
Gina and Ryan held their South Carolina destination wedding at the gorgeous Montage Palmetto Bluff, and there was never any question that we would have the welcome party on property. Moreland Landing at Palmetto Bluff was the perfect location, and a very cool way to welcome their guests to the Lowcountry. We started the evening off with a private tour down the river on Grace, which is a 100 year old yacht that belonged to the former owners of the land that Palmetto Bluff now sits on and was named after their daughter. Guests enjoyed lite bites, wine, and champagne on the yacht and took in the scenery. After the yacht docked, guests were invited to board a vintage trolley that took them over to Moreland Landing at Palmetto Bluff where they were greeted with a display of hand crafted cocktails and bluegrass music played by a live band. We decided that a good old fashioned oyster roast and a lowcountry boil was the only way to go to welcome their guests, who are mostly from Dallas, Texas, to the deep south. Gina loves bright colors, and while we went with more muted tones for the wedding, we had lots of color at their welcome party! Guests danced the night away under the string lights and the stars, and enjoyed a late night snack from the S’more-cycle.
