English Garden Wedding Editorial
This English garden wedding editorial was actually shot right here in my home town of Dallas, can you believe it?! Our friend Natalie of NBarrett Photography had attended a party at the home thrown by a friend of a friend and knew that she just had to shoot there! Thankfully, the homeowner’s were gracious enough to oblige. This really is one of my favorite editorials we have ever done and I can’t believe I’m just now getting around to blogging it. The shame is palatable! I think, if memory serves, this was my first foray into the style that has become known as “fine art” over the past few years, and after this I was hooked! So yeah, this is definitely a throwback. 2015 I think? Well, IMO, it still translates well. Let me know in the comments if you agree, or if you think it’s so over 😉
From Magnolia Rouge…
Hello there! It’s been a long weekend here in New Zealand and whilst it started off rather miserable and rainy, it finished off all summery like which was wonderful!! We mooched around the home, tidied up the garden, walked the pups, did some spring cleaning, visited family, had family visit us, walked the pups again – and again, and just chilled. Perfectly lovely!
Our first feature of the week is by NBarret Photography who collaborated with designer and stylist Birds of a Feather Events to create this soft and romantic inspiration in an otherwise pristine environment. When you discover a stunning residence like this with it’s beautiful manicured gardens and landscapes, of course you’d want to do a shoot there! The Southern Table put together some drop dead gorgeous florals and a lovely paper suite from Blue Eye Brown Eye tied it all together.
